Business education has been taught at Johns Hopkins University since 1916.
Carey Business School was established in 2007 as the newest Graduate School of Johns Hopkins University.
In 2017, Carey Business School received an Aacsb Accreditation, the highest accreditation any Business School can achieve.
Kerry offers a number of both full and part time programmes including dual MBA degrees with other schools within Johns Hopkins University.
Today we'll be talking about the full-time Master of Science in health care management program.

The MSN healthcare management program is focused on the business of the healthcare industry. Our students don't learn how to work with patience, but rather they learn how to work with the people and organizations that work with patience classes. Learn about the business side of health care organizations, suppliers, and even government legislation.
Students entering this program either have experience in health care and are looking to learn more about the business aspects of it or have a business background and want to pivot to the healthcare industry. Although this is not a public health or medical based program, many of our graduates do pursue careers in those fields. Most importantly, Ms in healthcare management students are the only Ms students at Carey Business School that have a course that takes them into the field.
For a real life consulting experience, I'll talk more about this opportunity in a little while.
Carey Business School is located in Baltimore's Harbor East neighborhood, about four miles from the Johns Hopkins Homewood undergraduate campus and 1 1/2 miles from the Johns Hopkins Hospital and medical campus. Carry is located within a 24 story office building where we utilized 7 non consecutive floors including the entire 20 four floor.
Harbor East is one of Baltimore's most upscale neighborhoods and the business center of the entire city.
Kerry does have another campus located in Washington DC. However, about 2/3 of Kerry students are at the Baltimore campus. The full-time MSN healthcare management program is taught exclusively at the Baltimore Harbor East campus.
Here you can see the course offerings for the full time MSN Healthcare Management Program. Students will take a total of 18 courses for two credits. Each carry terms or 8 weeks and link with students taking three to four courses per term. Usually five of the courses will be electives in addition to your business foundation and functional core courses. Like I mentioned earlier, healthcare management students take a two part project based experiential learning course.
That tends to focus on consulting with a local health based organization. Healthcare management is the only Ms program at Carey Business School with this level of real world experiences in the curriculum.
MSN Healthcare Management. Students will take one of the four project based experiential learning courses. Students indicate which course they are most interested in and advising will play students based on preference and practicality. Each course focuses on a different aspect of the healthcare industry. During the spring, two term students prepare and meet with her sponsor organization.

There are members of the CDO team who are devoted to helping our students enhance their mark ability in their job searches. Career coaches are there to help with your resume and get you prepared for taking the next step.
Students can even register for a zero credit professional development career course to further strengthen their skills.
Other members of the CDO team are constantly establishing connections within the various industry networks for curious students to take advantage of the employer relations team works to bring in guest speakers, setup tricks to businesses around the country, and hosts various careers in industry fares for our students.

As you can see, consulting in it or frequent sectors that are students find themselves working in after graduation.
The consulting nature of the project based course sets are students up for similar roles. Please note that students have gone on to another degree program, including medical school, are not reflected in this data.

Outside the classroom, carry, students are able to participate in case competitions that in the past have been hosted by companies such as Toyota visor and Anna. Her case competitions allow you to work with and against other carry students. Other Jaycie students and graduate students from their round the entire United States ecurie. You can also network with roughly 20 student organizations that are open to other gtu students as well. Student organizations are professional.

A complete application to Carey Business School consists of your undergraduate transcript, your resume, or CV2. Essays to recorded video interview questions, one letter of recommendation and Gmat RGRE test scores.
For US citizens and permanent residents, this program is test optional. If you have been able to take one of these tests and believe a test score will add value to your application, you should submit those scores. If you have not been able to test or believe your scores, do not reflect your ability and potential. You do not have to include these scores again. This test optional policy is only for US citizens and permanent residents.
If you attended college outside of an English speaking country, you are also required to submit to floor ild scores transcripts from any country outside the United States must be submitted directly to an AC's credential evaluation agency. To apply to the full time MSN healthcare management program, you must have your application materials submitted prior to the admission deadline. Although we do allow credential evaluated transcripts, official scores and recommendations to arrive slightly after the deadline, as long as they were requested prior, each round has different admission standards and scholarship consideration based on the number of applicants applying for that round.
