Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is committed to highlighting the experiences, research, and practice of various identities belonging to our nursing community. It is a priority for us to amplify the voices belonging to underrepresented communities while providing equitable and accessible opportunities for education and healthcare within our Nursing programs.

For this month, our Diversity Dimensions virtual session will highlight the significant contributions of Black and African-American Nurses in a global and historical context. Each month will highlight diverse and unique populations within our community. Alexander Murphy, assistant director of Admissions for diversity initiatives and recruitment, will facilitate this discussion to discuss how historical Black Nurses positively impacted the nursing profession.
