The Johns Hopkins SAIS Office of Admission invites you to learn more about the Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR) degree by joining an online information session. Current MAIR students and Admissions staff will be present to answer your questions about the admissions process, the student experience and the impact your education could have on the world.

The MAIR degree is a two-year program for full-time students and is the cornerstone of the Johns Hopkins SAIS experience. About half of all entering MAIR students spend a year at SAIS Europe and a year in Washington DC, and half spend both years in Washington. The academic program is the same for both groups and consists of interdisciplinary course work in international relations, economics and languages. Individuals proficient in Mandarin may pursue the HNC Certificate and Johns Hopkins SAIS MAIR by completing two semesters in Nanjing to receive a certificate in Chinese and American Studies, combined with two or three semesters in the MAIR program. One of these three semesters must be at the Washington campus.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
