    Please join the Master of Arts in Global Policy (MAGP) on September 26, for a taster lecture on "Global Disruption: What's Next for U.S. Aid, Trade, and Economic Policy?" with MAGP lecturers Karen Mathiasen and Robert Kahn. 

    Most recently, as Acting Executive Director at the World Bank, Prof. Mathiasen served as the senior U.S. representative on the executive boards of the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral International Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Before working with the World Bank, Prof. Mathiasen worked at the US Treasury where she headed the offices of Middle East and Africa and Multilateral Development Banks. Prof. Mathiasen teaches the International Development Course for the MAGP.

    Prof. Kahn is currently an independent consultant and advises senior policymakers on economic issues. He previously was the Steven A Tananbaum Senior Fellow at the Council for Relations, and has held senior staff positions at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Citigroup, the U.S. Treasury, the Council of Economic Advisers, and the Federal Reserve. Prof. Kahn teaches the Monetary Policy course for the MAGP.
