The Johns Hopkins SAIS Office of Admissions invites you to learn more about our practitioner's degree, the Doctor of International Affairs (DIA).  

The DIA is for experienced professionals with at least five years of full-time work experience, who seek to further their expertise through an advanced research degree in an accelerated timeframe and become practitioners in international affairs. 

The DIA may be completed at either the Washington DC campus or the SAIS Europe campus in Bologna, Italy. It is an on-campus program and is not offered virtually.
