DIA Virtual Information Session

Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 12:30 PM until 1:30 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Office of Admissions invites you to learn more about our newest degree offering - the Doctor of International Affairs (DIA). The DIA is ideal for experienced professionals with at least five years of full-time work experience, who seek to further their expertise through an advanced research degree in an accelerated timeframe and become practitioners in international affairs.

DIA students work with a faculty advisor to design a personalized academic and research plan to prepare for their doctoral thesis. Advanced standing is available for students who possess a relevant master’s degree allowing the program to be completed in as little as two years – with one year of full-time study and subsequent year focused on completing their doctoral thesis. A three-year track is available for those who have not completed a prior, relevant master’s degree. We will begin accepting applications for the fall 2020 term in August. RSVP for this event here.

This session will be hosted online using Zoom. If you have never used Zoom, ensure your computer and network connections are properly configured to provide you with the best possible experience beforehand: https://zoom.us/test
